Town of Washington Comprehensive Plan Update

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held regarding the Town of Washington comprehensive plan update.
The public hearing will be held before the Town of Washington Board on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., at the Town Municipal Building, located at 5750 Old Town Hall Road, Town of Washington
The Town proposes to amend the Town of Washington Comprehensive Plan with numerous updates developed by the Plan Commission with extensive resident input over the last 18 months, including:
- amendments to the goals, policies, and objectives of the plan
- updates to the Future Land Use Map (Map 9)
- inclusion of Official Map for Highway 93 corridor
- inclusion of intergovernmental agreement with City of Eau Claire for development within the Sewer Service Area and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction area
- updated background and demographic information
- inclusion of 2016 community survey information

The draft comprehensive plan update can be reviewed at the Town Municipal Building and at the Town of Washington website at www.townofwashington.org by following these instructions:
