    On July 23, work will begin to the bridge deck on the S. Lowes Creek bridge over I94.  The road will be reduced to one lane during that time.  It is anticipated to be completed by July 27.  Dates are subject to change due to weather and or equipment issues.  We appreciate your patience.

  • Update to Paving of S Lowes Creek Rd

    A section of S. Lowes Creek Road between Lowes Creek bridge and the I94 bridge requires a second layer to be paved tomorrow, Thursday, June 14. It is estimated this work will begin early afternoon. This section of road will be closed to all through traffic from the time they begin paving to 3 hours after the roadway is complete.  Observe road signs; when barriers are removed the road is reopened.  Please find an alternate route during this project. Dates are subject to change based on weather and equipment.

  • Priory Road Closure

    Priory Road will be CLOSED for culvert replacement 300ft north of 5000 Priory Rd (between Abby Rd and Sunset View Dr) tomorrow, June 7, from approximately 8AM to 3PM.  Please plan an alternate route for travel during this time.  Date and times subject to change due to weather and equipment issues.

  • Terre Bone and Fouser Farm Roads

    We want to thank the neighborhood for your support and patience through the paving process!  With the hot temperatures the pavement will remain soft so please avoid the edge of pavement and turning tires in excess.  Also, no roller blading on the road for at least a couple of weeks.

  • Fire Department Annual Chicken Feed

    Sunday, May 20 – Township Fire Department, Station 2 – 5750 Old Town Hall Road from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The event is all you can eat for $9.00.  A children’s hotdog meal is also available for $5.00.  All questions should be addressed to the Fire Department at 715-834-6868.

  • Seasonal Weight Restrictions

    All seasonal weight limitations will be lifted on Wednesday, May 2

    Per WI State Statutes 349.16, the Town of Washington will impose seasonal weight limitations of 12 Tons on several town roads effective on or after March 12, 2018 upon posting of required signs.     The Town of Washington, Eau Claire County, Board of Review will meet on the 5th day of June, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Town of Washington Municipal Building.
