    Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the Town of Washington Municipal Complex, 5750 Old Town Hall Road, a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2019 Budget of the Town of Washington will be held. The proposed budget is posted at the Town Hall and or click on the Government tab, then Town Budget. The budget in detail is available for inspection by appointment 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the clerk’s office.

  • Rest Haven Cemetery Flowers & Decorations Deadline

    Flowers and decorations must be removed before October 15 each year.  Plant urns/pots shall be emptied of dirt and removed or hung upside down on the upright part of the plant stand.  Vases that affix directly to the headstone must be removed or recessed.  Anything remaining after this date will be removed by the caretaker and disposed of.

    Decorations for the winter can be placed on or after November 1 each year in a approved plant stand.  Nothing is allowed on the ground.

  • Paving of Voight Road

    Voight Road will be paved Saturday, September 15 beginning at 7:00 AM.  The road will be CLOSED to ALL traffic from the time they begin paving to 3 hours after the roadway is complete.  Observe road signs; when barriers are removed the road is reopened.

  • Fog Sealing of Priory, Hickory & Talmadge

    The fog sealing application of Hickory, Priory & Talmadge is Thursday, September 6.  They have begun on Priory Road with one lane at a time to allow buses and residence access.  Abide by road closure signs.  After the application, the roads will be closed for a minimum of two hours for drying.  As always, this is a tentative date and is subject to change.  We appreciate your patience.
