Town Contests City of Eau Claire Annexation

The Town of Washington has filed a formal complaint disputing the legitimacy of the Stewart/Hauge annexation to the City of Eau Claire.  A letter was sent to the City Attorney on May 17th from our attorney with no response.  A letter was sent to all City Council Members from the Town Board Chairperson on June 8th with no response.  To view the letters and the formal complaint that was filed with the Eau Claire County Circuit Court on July 15, 2022 click on the documents below.
